Our Sourcing Model

Farm-Direct Contracting Through BNCP

Procurement is managed through Bennett’s Crop Procurement Ltd. (BNCP). BNCP contracts directly with a broad network of Western Canadian producers, securing volume and availability windows aligned to buyer programs. This structure allows us to:

source across multiple farms while keeping lots organized and traceable.
build consistent supply programs (not one-off spot loads)
manage communication, confirmations, and documentation centrally through one program desk.

(BNCP is the contracting and procurement arm; Bennett’s Seed is the supply-program and buyer-facing delivery arm.)

Handling Near Origin

Qualified Partner Facilities (When Grading/Cleaning/Packaging Is Required)

We do not rely on one centralized plant. When a program requires grading, cleaning, storage, or packaging, we coordinate those services through pre-qualified regional partner facilities closest to farm origin. This keeps freight efficient and avoids unnecessary cross-province movement.

Capacity and scheduling reliability for program timelines.
Certificates and scope available when applicable to the service performed.
Certificate clarity (important)
Facility certifications apply to the handling step, not to the farm. Where required, we provide facility documentation per lot aligned to the service performed.
